Custodian Guards certified as having met the international standards of ISO 14001:2004

Custodian Guarding Company (CGC) a leading provider of quality Security Services, announced today that it has been certified as having met the international standards of ISO 14001:2004, the Environmental Management Standard. The International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) established the Environmental Management Systems to encourage companies to evaluate all areas where its activities have an environmental impact.

“Custodian Guarding Company has always maintained high quality standards and procedures and received the ISO 9001 Certification in 2012,” says Andy Herbert, Director. “We continue to maintain the same high standards in our environmental efforts and are pleased to have been awarded the ISO 14001 certification. Companies have to be aware of the impact that service delivery has on the environment and have ways of reducing and mitigating that impact. CGC have implemented stringent environmental procedures and the ISO 14001 certification set the standard for these types of procedures. I'd like to express my gratitude to all company employees in their efforts to assist the company with carbon reducing exercises and can announce that we have been certified as a Carbon Balance Company by the World Land Trust".
